I always felt that the Hot Wheels Drag Bus was a little too tall and stout for my tastes. So, I cut one up and restyled it the way I would like to see it. A lot of the height was cut out and I added the roof cut out and some other trim and cast up a few bodies. I will be building 5 or 6 and all will be different. They, of course, will be sitting atop one of my scartch built chassis. If you have an idea and would like to reserve one contact me. These will be sold to first come first serve!
ATTN: I will credit your kustom purchase handsomely for Holiday Dairys and 55 Panels with Redline Real Rider wheels. Contact me!

Tarbenders
Introducing my first limited build………………TARBENDERS! These krazy little kreations are of my own design. These buggers are heavy! Each body weighs more than a Hot Wheels drag bus w/chassis! The scale on these I would guess is between 1/64 and 1/55. They are about the size of the Hot Wheels drag bus. The bodies were die cast by my good friend Bryan Te Beest. They were then sanded and polished up to 3200 grit and after they spent 2 days in a tumbler with polishing media. I then textured the metal to produce a unique finish. Layers of automotive kandies were then applied followed by a wet look automotive clear coat and then final polishing. Chassis, wheels, and undercarriage details were scratch built and then cast to reproduce.
These little buses are chock full of cool details such as, plug wires, fuel lines, machined headers and stacks, cloth seat belts, and served up on a cool Tarbender base with asphalt pulling up! Some Benders can be posed up in a wheelie position (they were originally designed this way)!
NO TWO will be alike! I am not talking about different paint! Each one will have different build details and will have it’s own theme/identity. Cool little VW sculptures if you will.
These are not for sale yet but they will be so watch this site for details.
Thanks,
Jon
Tarbender #1 Sleeper Bender $139.00
This was the first pilot Bender and it served as a prototype of sorts. I made final assembly adjustments on this first Bender. The top half is a textured metal variation with Kandy Perssimon and the lower half is HOK Black Diamond. The wheels and undercarriage were shot in sort of a black chrome. There are all sorts of goodies in the back seat for attending concerts and festivals.
Tarbender #1 Sleeper Bender
You thought those were loose plug wires? No, those a just two hoses for the 2 hose hookah pipe in the back seat. If you look close I think somebody forgot their stash also. There is a nice serape blanket for those chilly nights!

Check out the cool blacklight posters inside..............groovy man!
Tarbender #2 Lime Bender SOLD
The Lime Bender was polished out and then the cast was textured for the machined aluminum look. A special blend of House of Kolor that I mixed was shot over and this one will glow in the dark if ya have a black light! Dropped a V-8 inside the alum. motor housing with all the bells and whistles.
Tarbender #2 Lime Bender
Look at me I glow!
Tarbender #2 Lime Bender
The Lime Bender can be posed in the wheelie position also!
Tarbender #2 Ghost Bender $159.00 SOLD
This one was polished out and then the flame patterns were acid etched to the metal. The rust
treatment was done and then the whole body was sealed in a flat matte finish. She got the blown V-8 treatment with all the usual Scary plumbing and finished off with a machined set of zoomie pipes!

Tarbender #4 Gasser Bender 159.00
This one is right out of the 60's. Can you say "straight axle from hell?" This one is a mile off the ground with it motor and drive train hangin out its belly. Gasser has the textured metal like Lime Bender but completely different undercarriage.

Tarbender #5 Fink Bender SOLD
This one I polished out with jewelers rouge and then applied a coat of Kandy Pink then Oriental Blue. It came out a cool purplish color. You cannot tell by my bad pictures but this one looks like a Christmas ornament! The Fink Bender logo is buried in clear and the piece looks wet! Toss in one Rat Fink and tada..........
